Of course, you can also buy drinks at the Meridian Inn office, or shop at a nearby convenience store and prepare meals in your studio's kitchenette.

Nightlife - St.Lawrence Gap also features a number of nightclubs, catering to all musical tastes - from local calypso and reggae to mellow rhythm and blues. The clubs feature DJ nights as well as performances by live Barbados bands several times a week!

Within walking distance you will also find the Plantation Restaurant, home of the Tropical Spectacular dinner show! This glittering extravaganza features music, song and dance and the red-hot excitement of a fire-eater and flaming limbo.

If you are traveling to Barbados during the last week of April, you can also visit the Congaline Village - home of the Congaline Carnival - located at the Dover playing field, only a short walk from Meridian Inn. The Congaline Village consists of several food and beverage stalls along with local arts and crafts. Nightly entertainment ranges from comedy to calypso to international big bands.

A great way to see the island is a Private Island Tour in an air-conditioned vehicle with a very experienced local guide (our man Carl).

Watersports - There is a fully equipped watersport center a short stroll away, and there are jetskis and Hobie cats available for rent nearby.

We will also arrange deep sea fishing and scuba diving at your request. For a unique experience, go swimming with the turtles on the west coast of the island!
