Affectionately referred to as ‘Time Out’ - this place was created for relaxation! Parties and local entertainment three times a week are the rule. As the Party Monarch of the South Coast, this three-star hotel is located in the St. Lawrence Gap area –the best known party scene in Barbados.
  
 

The hotel offers 76 air-conditioned guestrooms in two cream-colored wings of three stories without elevators. Cream and white rooms include tile floors, rattan furniture including desks, and pastel fabrics.

All rooms are spacious, cheerfully appointed with air-conditioning, mini-refrigerator, satellite TV, telephone, radio/alarm clock, hairdryer, iron with ironing board and complimentary in-room safe.

Standard Room
Standard rooms offer a pool view with a balcony or patio, shower only and 2 double beds.

Superior Rooms
Superior rooms are larger, offering a variety of views, ranging from garden to courtyard and pool, some with balcony or patio. All rooms have bathtubs with 1 queen, 1 king, 2 twin or 2 double beds.
 


A 400-yard beach of nearly white coral sand across the street attracts locals as well as visitors. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent, as is water sports gear. Within the hotel's garden courtyard is a 45-by-20-foot pool with a surrounding sundeck.

All guests have the option of a complimentary Continental breakfast served each morning in the Whistling Frog Bar & Restaurant.

The Whistling Frog Restaurant & Bar: The Whistling Frog Restaurant and Bar serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, in a friendly and casual environment. In the evening, it converts into an exciting sports bar featuring games and karaoke.

Complimentary shuttle service is available to a sister hotel, The Savannah, 2 miles away, where Time Out At The Gap guests can use a complimentary fitness center and dine at The Savannah's restaurants
 

 
On Dover Beach across the street from the hotel, vendors rent out kayaks, small sailboats, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, Jet Skis, windsurfers, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. The beach also includes a volleyball net. Barbados Golf Club, 3 miles away, offers an 18-hole championship course
